Assaf Evron is an Israeli Artist based in Chicago. Evron’s works investigate the dialectic between the abstract and the figurative in various mediums as photography, sculpture and sound. As a whole, my work offers a wonky ontology that can be seen as being in conversation with disparate topics ranging from Giorgio de Chirico’s metaphysical paintings to science fiction movie props, pointing out cyclical trajectories in art history, popular culture and the history of ideas. Evron earned his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has exhibited his work internationally.
