Workshop: Introduction to Bunraku-Style Puppetry

Puppet artist and designer Tom Lee will lead a hands-on workshop in puppet manipulation inspired by the Japanese traditions that have shaped his work. Participants will have an opportunity to explore how a three-person team brings a single puppet figure to life through breath, fixed points, and listening. No experience is necessary, but participants should be prepared to move.
