ETC-Industries/C.Editions was established at Mana Contemporary Chicago in late 2015 by fine art publisher Thomas Cvikota, whose original imprint, C.Editions, was founded in 1991 in New York City. It relocated to San Francisco in 1993 before moving to Chicago in 2003.
As ETC Industries/C.Editions, a lifetime of collecting, publishing, and producing editions is now a resource for artists, curators, collectors, and students. Exhibits of contemporary prints and multiples are supported by an extensive library containing over two thousand books and a vast archive of ephemera spanning five decades.
These resources are accessible by appointment. Research proposals are considered and eligible for funding on a project by project basis. The production workshop is accessible by invitation.
A series of publishing projects are currently scheduled for the 2016-2017 season.
