Jeffly Gabriela Molina

Jeffly Gabriela Molina is a Chicago-based visual artist from Táchira, Venezuela. Jeffly first moved to the U.S. in 2007 and lived in Miami, Florida for four years—while there, she attended the New World School of the Arts. In 2011, she transferred to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2013 and a Master of Fine Arts in 2016. Within the past couple of years, she has been commissioned to create two public sculptures: the first one, titled Nest, was commissioned by The Redbury South Beach in Miami where it is permanently installed; her second, Casa de Turpiales, was commissioned by Hines and will be installed in 2016 in the City of Doral, Florida. In 2014, she produced and co-curated 'yes, you're in heaven' in Chicago's Gold Coast and most recently, she was awarded the 2015 AAF/Seebacher Prize for Fine Arts and the 2016 John W. Kurtich scholarship.
