Michael LaHood

Michael LaHood (aka Hoodie) is an interdisciplinary artist with deep interest in social connectivity. His interactive works create space to practice exchange with others on an individual level in order to more deeply understand how those exchanges form a larger social organism, the interconnected knowledge and purpose that exists in the connections between many.

Mike graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Human Biology and an MA in Communication, and received an MFA from Columbia College Chicago in Interdisciplinary Art and Media. He is an active performer and organizer in Chicago’s fire dancing community.
