Slow Stretch
Curated by Third Object

Third Object is pleased to announce Slow Stretch, an exhibition of work by Sarah and Joseph Belknap and Eileen Rae Walsh. In Slow Stretch, the three artists collaborate on a floor-to-ceiling installation of photography and sculpture that blurs the lines of authorship. The culmination of a long-running exchange between the artists and curators, this exhibition and accompanying publication speaks to the nature of collaborative creative practice. Third Object is a Chicago-based curatorial collective, which has curated exhibitions at The Franklin, ACRE TV, Fernwey, Roots and Culture, and Studio 424. Slow Stretch is organized by Raven Falquez Munsell and Gan Uyeda. For more information visit www.thirdobject.net.

Sarah Belknap and Joseph Belknap are Chicago-based interdisciplinary artists and educators who earned MFAs at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Their work has been exhibited in widely in Chicago and throughout the United States.
